I check the whole first page of posts and I only se banned threads by Eric. Frankly I think Eric can do or post whatever he want's on his OWN board :)

A lot of people are getting banned with these new GFY rules.

I think if people were not so rude & stopped the slagging off or bad publicity then there wouldnt be a problem. :thumbsup

I like that we have a public announcing of bannings and their charges now. Keeps shit nice and straight forward. No debate, just how it is. I await my banning. :1orglaugh

If the board was always business minded and professional, maybe Eric would be able to do something with his free time other than policing a bunch of adults. History has shown that a lot of, over 18 adults hanging out here, can't control themselves or have a civil conversation.

The fact remains that many people for too long have been taking their vendetta's too far. That includes trying to bash people on a personal level, and ruin others business for little more than 'I don't like him'. Posting up their personal business, personal pictures, and going to relentless ends to win some 'king of the internet' award. That's what the ignore feature is for if you have no self control.

A lot of people do not like me. I don't care. That does not effect my business, or life's happiness when some stranger on a message board does not like me. That is not a prerequisite to being in this industry or posting on this board. There are many people in this industry I do not like. However, I do not follow them around from thread to thread, post to post, board to board trolling them. That's the difference. I do not get nasty with someone unless they have been a asswipe towards me. If you are going to take a swipe at me, I'll bitch slap you back. I am here to enjoy some jokes with industry friends, and make money. Not to fight with complete strangers.

Just because the board's url is GFY (which a lot of troll cite in their reasoning) does not give you a license to a no hold barred attack everyone personally and/or their business. You cant' do it on most other adult, or mainstream, industry boards, and for too long it has went on here.

Unfortunately its the nature of the beast in this biz. The Adult biz does not bring the cream of the crop as far as people. Most look for a free ride at someone elses expense then bash prople when they dont get it.

Look at the really successful peeps here. DO you see them initiating stupid hate posts or some idiotic meaningless post just to get a high post count . Nope.

Considering the fact also that anyone can come on here and post trash, hate etc and never stand in front of his peers , and stand up for what he/she wqrites is also the issue.I believe they call it keyboard warriors.

Just an FYI for newbies, the best biz you will do here may start with someone who rarely ever makes a post here.

I am 10000% with Eric on this and think it's long overdue. But, I do have to say that the few times I stepped into some non-porn forums it was even worse than GFY.

I think that the phenomenom of people feeling like they can just say any damn thing they want behind a keyboard (and believe me, they can claim they would...but they wouldn't say any of that stuff in real life, who would?) isn't exclusive to the Adult biz.

A couple of years ago I was trying to diagnose a disease on one of my Oscars in my fish tank. So I googled around and found a forum that was dedicated to Oscar fish.

HOLY SHIT. Those guys were SHREDDING each other. Death threats, name calling, waaaayyyyy worse than I've ever seen here. And that was a tropical fish enthusiasts board! lol

You should see some of the guitar and guitar gear forums that I'm a member of. Makes our trolls look like Ghandi

Having said that...I still think there should be a real business section that only people who can prove they are in this business to Eric (obviously he already knows who a lot of them are) would be allowed into.

And then everyone in there should have to go by their REAL NAME (like I do anyway). That way all of you could have one username for the business forum (your real name, not viewable by the general public or even the "regular" registered users), and your current silly looking "nicknames" that most people here use (not counting folks who use their biz as their nic).

Then you could post seriously in the business section, and if you try to troll in there...everybody knows who you are. So the biz section could stay clean and useful.

Meanwhile you could take your "regular" nic and use it out here to act out and troll and insult people.

That way everybody can still have their childish fun, and yet act like grownups when it comes to business away from the surfers of GFY.

A lot of people with way too much time on their hands, who got a wedgie in the locker room and are just dying to strike back...

Kinda of sad really.
