Who can either make them? or knows who can make them.

You could try something like ActiveDen (add dot com after). Look for a player you like, and if you need customization talk to the author. There's VideoPlayerFactory (add dot com) which creates basic customized Flash players based on your choice of options. Kickapps.com generates customizing code for hosted players.

The major players - JW Player and Flowplayer - are highly configurable, and maybe some of the customizing you want can be done through that method. Depends on what you're needing.

http://www.flashnplay.com/ - these guys use to have an amazing portfolio though it looks like they took most of them down. They will have a contact page though.

i can't believe in this entire industry there are hardly any Flash programmers - there are designers who can skin an existing player but good luck finding somebody who can actually code a customized original Flash player.

All of the good designers left a long time ago.

True, seems like I'm the only one here who actually does that.
