DON'T FUCKING BUY VISA GIFTCARDS

What a waste of fucking money. Seriously. I got 2 $100 visa gift cards a while back because they said in huge print "accepted anywhere visa can be used, even online!" because I wanted to buy some shit where CC was the absolulte only option their their shopping cart.

WRONG!

Good luck finding anywhere that actually accepts these giftcards online. Due to fraud or whatever else they have been bliocked out by just about everywhere. At least everywhere I tried to use them. I even got fed up and tried cashing them into my paypal, no go there either.


SO whathappens in the end? I wind up cashing them out off the ATM, at which point my $100 giftcards become $80 giftcards because they knock some $1.50 fee off or some shit. I spent the remainder of what i could at the gas station on munchies.

Gimme a break. How is that an accusation? Maybe I'm insinuating, but I was being tongue in cheek about it. I don't know enough about the situation to make any serious accusations, which is why you won't find me in the drama thread (which is where all the real accusations are flying). I could have just as easily poked fun at Kman. Anyway, if mods are reading, I meant no harm.. But if you're gonna ban me, you might as well ban everybody posting in the other thread.. :2 cents:

whenever I get these gift cards for rebates the first thing I do is turn them into some usable gift card at home depot or the supermarket.
