the 12 days of Christmas
 

ok, some of the older folks here may be able to help me here.

There was a version of the 12 Days of Christmas that I think came out in the late 70's early 80's that went something like this

On the first day. . . my true love gave to me, a tab of yellow sunshine LSD.

On the second day . . . my true love gave to me two grams of hash, and a tab of yellow sunshine LSD

On the third day . . . three pounds of grass, two grams of hash, and a tab of yellow sunshine LSD

You get the idea. My question is, do you know who did this particular version?

and you say you are old. That is the version my kids know :)

don't lie to me old man. batman smells is a classic. been around since at least the mid sixties. rates right up there with comet, it makes your teeth turn green...

sorry, the only memories I have of the mid-sixties thru the mid-eighties involved sex, drugs, rock and roll, love-ins, Harleys, and some stuff I won't post on a public forum. Batman and Christmas did not fit into the mix.

My kids are the ones that first introduced me to that version of Jingle bells, really

It's older than that I think I can remeber thiis from the early 70s.

But then a lot of that time is a bit misty.

No wonder we get along so well :) 6 in our family....we had the whole brandy bunch thing down....except the boys were younger then the girls.
