I just went to "Google News" and then I looked up the most recent news. One of the links pointed to "Winnipeg Free Press" - "Leprosy Article."

So, I was shocked to hear about leprosy. I thought it was a disease in olden times. But, I guess even today some people have leprosy.

I just read some literature where people with leprosy are sent to abandoned islands to die off. But, Canada is a more civilized country than that.

"Hansen's Disease now is treatable with prescription drugs. Still, a stigma remains attached to it."

"Officials say the chance of the crew member having passed the disease to others on the ship is low. In its statement, Vancouver Coastal Health notes the disease "is not considered highly contagious."

Unless you are in a county where there are antibiotics WTF are you worried about?

Leprosy is totally cureable... there are charities I think you can donate $150 and cure a third world child of it. Much less than scalding my eyeballs so I can see.

Google it.

k9 unit.. That's cool.. They have the sniffing dogs.

It's nice to see someone face to face (for dinner).
