7-3 Canada after 2 periods. What an incredible game so far.

These two countries are sure one of the most skilled countries at hockey.

Russia goes home empty handed.

Finland beat the Czechs 2-0 in what seemed like a highschool game after watching the Canada-Russia game.

And SLOVAKIA beat defending gold medal champions SWEDEN in a 4-3 game that was very entertaining all the way to the end.


Canada will play Slovakia in the semifinal
USA vs Finland

Both games happen tomorrow (Friday)


I'd like to see a Canada - USA gold medal final. Because I think we need to set a few things straight with these upstarts. :D

wow that level of hockey was phenominal. If Canada lost the reasons would have been fatigue, when Canada wins like they did, the reason is the extra game gave them time to play the proper defensive game when they need and their forwards need to work together. Right now those forward lines are clicking and look unstoppable.

A lot of quiet Americans in here right now --- quote me on my prediction: Canada takes the gold. It might have taken an extra game to get there, but it will still happen. :)

I think we needed that extra game. Losing to USA was the best thing that could have happened to this team.
