Might be offline for a bit due to the Tsunami

Warnings have been going out since last night for us here in Hawaii due to the Tsunami. Sirens started going off this morning at 6am and they have already started evacuating Waikiki. Hopefully everything will be fine and everyone will be safe, but in the event that we lose power and/or internet I may be offline for a bit. Just wanted to let all affiliates know.

Stay safe!

prediction: no one even notices. not even a ripple. the sensationalism the media causes is absolutely ridiculous. if anything, they may see a small surge that would be equivalent to a high tide during low tide hours.

fucking media.

I'm sitting on the beach with laptop now.

They're saying it is going to be a little over a meter by the time it gets to Oahu. Which will be nothing.

Hopefully thats the case.

.

It's not the size...it's the speed.

Over 100mph is something to take notice of, even if it's only a meter.

cybermike 02-27-2010 01:43 PM

Is there an eta on when it will get there?

12clicks 02-27-2010 01:50 PM

500 miles an hour expected to hit at noon Hawaii time

fatfoo 02-27-2010 01:53 PM

Tsunamis and earthquakes. Unbeliavable. It has something to do with how the earth moves, doesn't it.

That's the risk of putting money into real estate.

I mean, don't buy a house that's gonna be destroyed in a tsunami.

starpimps 02-27-2010 02:18 PM

stay safe shoehorn

dont let the tsunami mess up that perfect hair of yours either
