50 Million Tweets per day
 

According to Twitter's own blog, http://blog.twitter.com/2010/02/measuring-tweets.html their network racks up a nosebleed inducing 50 Million tweets PER DAY.

Damn..... That's a lot of "buying crotchless panties for my webcam show" or (KEYWORD HERE) (BULLSHIT CONTENT HERE) (TARGET HASH HERE) tweets a day! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

49.9 Million spams - they should really cull the dross, it would be pretty easy to do.

I don't see why people bash Twitter so much.

You're only going to get spam if you follow spammers. Every social networking site has spam.

While people knock Twitter, I enjoy my traffic and the bookmarkers it brings.

I mix my own spam in with real tweets so people don't mind and don't label me a spammer.

How many people can tell people they don't know that they are going to take a dump per day?

They should sell it while its hot. Next big thing is around the corner, I'm sure.

I get tens of thousands of visitors per day from Twitter, and not through spam. If you don't, then you're really missing out.

It's great for news and local events IMO. I have a personal twitter and biz twitter. On the personal I follow our local news, police dept's and event sites so I can see if there is anything interesting going on locally :)

I guess Im only here who don;t have twitter and facebook account.
