Those guys got in trouble for it but there is still tons of other companies using scripts to purchase all the tickets. I tried to buy tickets for a game a few weeks back and the tickets were gone after 3 minutes.

This really would be a crime. I don't see why not.

And the bigger the monetary value is, the bigger the crime. The amount # of $ matters.

Just think, some people out there get killed for only $3K or $4K.

man its like say the NBA finals game is Lakers vs Cavs,

and i go to LA arena, find like 100 bums to walk in and get them to buy max possible tickets, then i resell them.. thats just smart business

And that gets you 100 tickets max. These guys buy thousands. And lets not forget reselling tickets is illegal in some states.

I know I get pissed right the fuck off when I try to grab concert tickets and I'm on the phone with ticketmaster as soon as they go on sale, and they tell me sold out or the only tickets left are shitty seats. And I'm only trying to buy 2 tickets.
