i got a problem with webair.com
 
Rented server couple of days ago and got a msg from them yesterday:

As this request falls outside our normal definition of a managed server, using our preferred hosting platform of Apache webserver, and our control panel software, we will be unable to manager these servers. As far s configuration goes, we are more than happy to install the base software from ports, however configuration will need to be handled by yourself.

Alternatively, we can install our preferred hosting platform, with our custom firewall rules for security, our IP manager, our FTP and MySQL managers. This also comes with the latest PHP and AWStats. If you then require postgres after that, we can then discuss further options for configuration.

It wasn't specific anyhow, just a stable and necessary software for our sites.
What i gotta do now?

Seems kind of vague as to what you are asking or putting this thread up for....Sounds like you need to talk to your host and most likely it's going to involve admin time.

Get your sale manager on icq. they are the ones who can help you navigate through a special instruction like that. Webair has their own interface unlike most hosts that use CPanel or direct admin.

With webair the best thing for simple requests is to hit up the live support to get a quick answer to a simple question but for something out of the normal hit up your sales rep.

I used to talk to Mike, we've negotiated all, he said ~5 days needed - ok then.
More than 5 days passed, Mike didnt answer the emails but i've got reply from one of your tech guys and its all over again. The same questions.

Server are not run yet? Where is Mike? Who is gonna pay for all the time we wasted?
