WEBAIR is a piece of Shit!
about 9 days ago my tech told to email webair customer support and have them upgrade the php mysql libraries on my virtual plan hosting account.
Today at approx 3:30pm I get an email from support states this. ########## Begin Message ########## Your MySQL library should now be updated. *** They completely fucked up my domain that is running all kinds of php scripts and to top it all off I have no phone support for this issue only bullshit customer support emails back and forth. My beef is you do upgrades on Sundays at least get with me on ICQ which I provided in the original email with and give me a heads up. I'm loosing $$$$ cuz you guys fucked up and now i can't even call you .. cuz my plan does not support phone support! BULLSHIT!!! WTF????!!!! ICQ: 259 937 852 skype: custsupport11 :mad: |

What type of hosting did you have with them? Dedi?

I have a dedicated server with Webair and have had problem after problem right from the start. To be fair customer support has always been resonable to excellent and I have had all issues resolved, eventually.
Now I am seeing very poor download speeds from the server at all times of the day and I have requested that be investigated. That was two days ago and that excellent service appears to have diminished to extremely poor as I still await a positive response! I hope this can be resolved as another move so soon would be a real pain in the arse. However, I have seeked quotations from C2Hosting and Phatservers in the event that things aren't resolved soon. I can't provide a good service for high definition movie downloads / streams on a server delivering an average of 250 KBps download speeds! |
Sorry to hear about those issues, you might want to see additional hosts that own their DC, provide DDoS protection (free) etc. From what I understand Webair has their own control panel so that could make it a PIA.

I have many servers in their data center for years. They are one of the most reliable companies I have used.
It is important when asking a tech to upgrade a library or anything on a server, to give all the details and specifics of whats running and what exactly needs to be done. I would also highly recommend backing up your site and data before anything is done. I would say if they resolved the issue the same day, then you have nothing to bitch about. Try getting that kind of support from godaddy! |

Well after my concerns raised this week regarding problems I have encountered all has been made good. Gerard is an absolutely top bloke who will bend over backwards to ensure his clients are happy, and him and Webair have done good for me this week. Very good in fact!

I am in business since 1995. I have clients that have been with me that long.
I also know Mike, Sagi and the rest of the guys at webair. I have been in their facilities and they are very impressive! I am a hosting company, I sell Dedicated servers, VPS's, custom and managed servers. I can't afford to be in a crappy DC. Whenever I have had a problem, it was handled quickly and professionally by Webair. Hostgator, planet, etc etc all ok, but you are just another fish in the pond. If you ran into a real problem, you would get lost. I have seen it! I have gotten a lot of business from them and godaddy. If you are having an issue, simply put in a ticket or call them. I don't know what else to say except tell you my stuff is running great! p |
