An Honest Question - Please Answer Honestly
 

How many of you actually work hard at this and how many of you just fuck around on the boards? I know that there are a lot of both groups.

I work hard when I have to but I always have time to fuck around on here. :)

I work at it every single day. I barely ever take any time off unless it's something very important.

I work hard at it every day, but I also enjoy the benefits from working hard aswell.

I don't work hard at all. I fuck around and keep an eye on my kids.

I work from 7am to 5pm every day. Most days I take just a 15 minute lunch break. I'd say I work very hard

I work hard and have always done so.

However, I have learned to keep hours and make time for myself. So I will take weekends off, and even make some time during the week for myself to just veg out, go to the casino, or spend time with friends and family.

But when I am at my desk, I am cranking away on multiple computers full tilt.

I take this fucking around task really seriously...

I work a min of 70 hours per week

I work hard everyday, seven days a week, from the minute I get up till deep into the night.

Sometimes I'm working flat out, and... well, other times I'm working standing up :D

I actually work hard and come here mostly for business, but I do occasionally come here to fuck around.

why u so mad

Since December or so I've been working 7 days a week, an average of 14 hours a day. But that's only because I've got seven projects hitting more-or-less this month so I knew I'd have to crank it to reach that deadline.

Usually it's more like 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I always take off 1 full day a week, just to re-charge. Burnout is HUGE in this business - or any biz where you spend hours in front of a monitor - so you must replenish your energies, both physical and emotional. But when I say 'take off' (eh?) I mean: only check emails six times a day as opposed to six hundred. LOL

I work hard most of the time. I do feel a draw to just fuck around for hours on end though.

If you want to make money in this biz, you gotta work hard. Pretty much like any other biz. I work 5-6 days a week, 8-10 hs a day.

I work hard during the week, however I forced myself to not touch the computer on the weekends unless it's very important. Been in the adult biz since 1995, I've done it all.

May I stress that it's very important to keep hours and when its time to stop working, go find something else to do! Staying busy and having fun with your personal life can make you more creative and productive at work! Life goes by so quickly, get out there and be successful in your personal life as well!!

typical day is 10 or 12 hours, but for most of us i would imagine checking emails and stuff is a 'round the clock' affair!

Some days I'll put in 15-16 hours.. I usually do those days 3-4 back to back.. then I'll only work 5-6 hours the next two days.. then back to busting balls. I've always got my phone on me, though.. which means I'm constantly checking e-mail etc

I used to work virtually 24/7 back in the day...

Was worth it... I made my money, and havnt squandered it on fancy cars, hookers & blow etc...

These days I'm semi retired, and my stuffs on autopilot... I do my best to work as little as possible, and prefer to pay others to do any new stuff for me... :)

I work smart.

I combine the two with hard work making up most of the combination. I am an easily distracted type though and so I have to limit boards though or it will take me ages to get back to real work.

I work 12 hours a day, minimum. The word obsession would be an understatement in my case

I'm always working a lot, but when I'm really trying to bang a lot of work out, I put myself on a no-GFY, no-Twitter, no-Facebook diet.

The majority of my business is international...so I'm always working hard at all kinds of crazy hours in the day and night. I do make time to screw around from time to time though...

Plus, I love my work...it hardly feels like like real work when you truly love what you are doing!
