Idaho passes law to sue US over healthcare
Seems there are a few people that don't like Obama Care
http://www.einnews.com/pr-news/77094...ver-healthcare As a pre-emptive strike against the possibility of the federal government passing a healthcare reform bill, the state of Idaho has passed a law that requires that the state sue the federal government if the people of Idaho are forced to buy health insurance. Thirty-seven other states are debating legislation similar to the Idaho Health Freedom Act, setting up a Constitutional state's rights battle. Virginia legislators passed a similar measure last week, but it has yet to be signed into law. Democratic leaders in the Senate are hoping to vote on the healthcare legislation this weekend. The bill would cover some 30 million uninsured people, end the practice of denying coverage to those with pre-existing conditions and require most Americans to get coverage by law. |
