When I want big on the West Coast, In-n-Out's where it's at. Road food? White Castle or Krystle -- so good when driving!

What makes the best burger? It seems to vary so much for everyone. Who has the best burger meat?

They aren't. People just think they are because they can't get them where they live. Just like Coors beer. Everyone wanted it because they could not get it.

I wouldnt call them the best burger period, but best fast food burger by far.

However growing up in the NW I'm a fan of the Tillamook cheeseburger and walla walla onion rings (in season only) at Burgerville myself. :thumbsup

Rally's when they first started out had a great burger now they suck

I had White Castle in the Military... oh man, those nights and WC are not to be recalled. I didn't know they had an actual burger, all I recall was those mini things going down and coming up. In-n-out's name lives up to itself as well, but at least it looks like a burger.

In-N-Out has the best/freshest ingredients and IMHO is the best fast food burger in the country ... by a burger chain. Their fries are the worst though.

I'll take Mickey D's fries over any other fast food joint fries any day.

sloppy thin fries are what the big fastfood chains all have... the two in this poll are not in europe so i dont know about them but US fastfood fries are fucking gross.

that said, whoppers are really great.
big macs or any other burger from mcd's are the worst. Everything in that joint is tasteless.

I live in Aushtraylia and we have neither of these franchises and i have hence never eaten either of their burgers but bassed on the popular films i have viewed I vote for White Castle

Fatburger is the one for me. Local Fran/Dan burgers are next in Austin.

I like them both but will stop in Checkers any day on the East Coast.

in and out i think its morman owned they stamp the cups with scriptures best burgers and fries i think dairy queen is a tie

In N Out is good but I always thought overrated. And definitely not worth the wait in line.

Fat Burger is really good and they have these monster ass fries that are pretty good. For national/global chains, I usually go with Burger King for burgers.

Get extra crispy animal style fries... might make em a skosh better... I absolutely hated In N Out fries until I discovered the extra crispy animal style.

Astroburger in Hollywood is good

in and out is better than white castle, hands down but fat burger is even better.
what they have in common: nothing is frozen, they do all from fresh ingredients..
i happen to love the fries at in n out, and as an added benefit they are the least un-healthy fries you can get...

Truth be told, I am not much of a fast food person, and fries are always low on my list of things I will order. That being said, I usually reserve fast food for when I am in a hurry (most likely will be driving). Animal style would just make the fries more messy to try and eat while driving.
