Need to buy powerful pc..

Time to replace my computer.. i built it myself, few years ago, then the best video card was 8800GTX at $500 a pop..

so im going to retire it, i need a super pc, but i dont have time to build one...

you guys know any reputable sites that are not too overpriced.. alienware seems to be overpriced(i priced the specs individually and i can do it for half)

Im trying to get fastest quad core, DUAL video cards(fastest out now), at least 12GB ram, windows 7, 1TB hdisk..

Im so out of loop dont even know if we are still on DDR3 or DDR4? lol

anyway please point me in the right place..

I just bought a 6core intel i7 Gulftown 32nm.($1,100) The motherboard I'm using has SATA 6 and USB 3.0(Asus P6x58d premium).

I haven't installed yet, but its supposed to be the fastest CPU on the planet out of the box, and it also can overclock to 5ghz, from what I've been hearing. I'm building this weekend -- I'll report back with how it went and my list of components.

I'm sure you could find the time to build one if it'll save you $2000+

I'd check out Tiger direct if you wish to buy pre-made from various companies.
I'd stay intel based the link shows gaming pc's but you can browse around get an idea.

Here is a link:

If you want to buy from them go to"bing.com search tiger direct and you can save 8.3% Cashback with them. Saves a bit when orders start getting expensive. :)

i built one years ago, i honestly dont feel like doing one.. i know how to do it..

buy a case, a power supply (1000W+), get a mobo that fits the case, check mobo specs, make sure i get correct RAM, max out the RAM, get video cards, hard disk, DVD drive, plug it all, connect Power, Reset, HD, LED lights to mobo, and thats pretty much it.. maybe i left out something, but building a pc is not something you forget..

when i built one i was adventurous and crap, now i rather just pay someone to build one for me, idont have time to setup mobo, run tests, burn ins, overclocks, etc.

That's sick. I'm waiting for Sandy Bridge.
