Solo French Female Singers
 

So, this spans back to my day of Vanessa Paradis and Joe le Taxi, but I've always had a soft spot for this genre, and while this is old, I recently came across it on iTunes and got the album



The quality on that vid is really crap, but you get the idea. What I love about these kinds of songs is if you hadn't seen the video/artiste but only heard their voice, their voice congers up a totally different image of what they are like visually (which is why I hate vcds). The singer is called "Charlie" and the song "Le Sapin".

Total crap but shit I like it cos the lyrics stick like hell in my head and is a feel-good tune.

Still, I think this type of voice has had added to it what airbrushing adds to photos.
