I have been staying with it because of Coda. It's the only editor I have ever LOVED. Now I found a WYSIWYG HTML editor that just replaced Dreamweaver. I really may never fire up Dreamweaver again.

I tried espresso and didn't like it as well as Coda but some of you may like it better. It's from the same guys who put cssedit which is pretty slick if you need that kind of thing.

TextMate and Xcode were my main tools for a while...

Apple as a company is arrogant. Apple products are overpriced. The operating system is bizarre. The users are uppity twats. Most applications are severely inferior to their Windows counterparts (with obvious exception to Coda and Flux).

I tried the Coda demo and the TextMate demo before going with Textmate.

Nothing even compares.

Did textmate ever add a way to open multiple files in a single window without creating a "project"? Last I used textmate I had to open numerous textmate windows, one for each file I was editing. Sometimes files aren't part of a "project." If textmate has true tab support it would be much better.

I've been using DW since like 2001 I can't imagine using anything else. BUT, CS4 really pisses me off so I'll check this out.

Never heard of notepad++, I'm using ultraedit 16
