Reminds me of the Northridge quake back in '94. Was even worse because although it wasn't as intense, it was in the middle of the night, and getting up and out of the bedroom with all that motion was horrible feeling like you aren't even making any push toward the door. I feel for those people.

Thats pretty insane. Im very glad that we do not have such disasters in our country. Sometimes a small earth tremor but nothing like a quake.

I would have been out of that building so fucking fast.

Why the OMG in the post. Wheres the OMG. All that happened is buiding rocked for a minute. Theres more fear sitting in 101 or 405 traffic.

That's one of the worst Acts of God that can destroy a house.

Other Acts of God include:
1) Tsunami
2) Flood
3) Thunderstorm

etc.

if you look closely its not just shaking but also the building is bending and waving.. good job for the engineers who made that building.. :thumbsup

I was about 30 miles from the epicenter of that 7.2 earthquake in Landers, CA 1992. Shit was crazy, felt like a freight train coming thru the condo. Also been closer to the epicenter of a 6.4 and that was pretty crazy too. 8.8 would be insane.

It just kept rolling and rolling, wow. Northridge was crazy enough for me.
