I did something i haven't done for years which is create a gallery and submit it to the Hun.
I got accepted but i never got listed.

Has this ever happened to you ? It has been a month now.

Give it time. They say a day to a month, but I've had some galleries pop up in three months.

It will go up. If not you want to talk to "review" check their forum/site.

it must be great if you submit gallery from new site to get sales with new content, and it got listed in 3 months when everything is two and half month on tubes already :)

To the OP like the other guys said, the people at The Hun are on top of shit so it will go up within about a month. Get ready for some major traffic :thumbsup

err, chances are the gallery was ok, but went to thehuns overflow :winkwink:

Wish much success with your gallery Fabien, hun was always worth to submit (it's free+lots of traffic+avg.1-2sales per listed gallery). :)

My shit usually gets up in a couple days after an email like that. Sometimes there's an error. Just email him. He's very accessable and will help you out. You'll probably get michel

month waiting, but any sales?

From my experience it takes a while but a good bit of traffic

You might want to take a second look at what you're promoting and how since the hun has been around since the beginning of internet porn and doesn't seem to be going anywhere too fast except converting for enough people to keep him around. And he only almost shuts down your server when you get accepted. If you can't convert with all that traffic I'm not sure the problem is with the hun. Just saying.

Never had any problems with The Hun... Its hard to be accepted, but when it happens the traffic is amazing!

It's really nice to know "your gallery will be listed at midnight" so you can warn your host

Many servers aren't configured to handle the instant traffic wallop of a decent listing and it sucks to lose out on potential sales because your server is suddenly on its knees...

hehe, some weeks ago, just for shits and grins, i submitted a simple picture gallery to the hun --- plain simple with just a header, three text links to the sponsor and a huns banner at the bottom ... it was accepted ... with just 20 pics on a gallery it wont hurt that badly i thought ... and yes, there was a slight spike in BW but it made a sale ... guess where from? the OVERFLOW :winkwink: so, i dont think the huns traffic is bad but what you promote or how ya do it :2 cents:

It takes a few days to get listed after such an email.
You still get good traffic from a Hun listing. But gone are the days that a free listing on the Hun could generate 10+ sales.

just mail me the accepted url to thehun @thehun.net and I'll will check what happened to it. Usually it takes less than a 7 days after acceptance to get posted.

Happened pretty frequent when I used to submit galleries 2 years ago.

Depending on a number of variables your gallery can either make 20 sales on a single day OR Burn a huge amount of BW and make 0 sales. Again, depends on a number of variables.

i usually did 5-10 sales

Well it seems like everyone is just fuckin' ducky with the hun and sales from it, eh? I've had probably 10 galleries listed there total, and only one made any significant sales. I've tried all different kinds of content from all different sponsors.

Now you just have to submit that good working one. free traffic, significant sales, what else do you need? :)

I wonder how many sales the hun has generated over the years.
