Alice in Wonderland in 3D

Saw it on Wednesday with the wife. It was pretty good. Just twisted enough to make it interesting. :pimp

I passed out. Information overload plus 3d glasses just knocked me the fuck out.

Alice is perfect for dark interpretations. I remember a game called Alice that came out a long time ago for PC, kick ass creepy game. I look forward to seeing the movie but its a shame it is a PG production of a potentially very creepy movie and Johnny Depp as the hatter looks super cool

For some reason I was expecting it to be more like Nightmare Before Christmas :1orglaugh

I wasn't terribly impressed with the 3D, I must say - but the film was enjoyable overall!

I agree. The 3D was distracting at times.

Zuzana Designs 03-26-2010 05:51 PM

My parents are in town and we are going to see it this week. I can't wait.

NaughtyRob 03-26-2010 07:01 PM

Give 3D another chance, I have seen about 5 of the new style 3d movies and they are awesome, this one, 3d didnt do much.

imax 3d is amazing

CaptainHowdy 03-27-2010 07:12 AM

I refuse to see it ...

HeadPimp 03-27-2010 07:13 AM

The 3D isn't there to blow you away with 'throwing things at the crowd' effects, but to add some visual richness to the movie. It sort of cheapens a movie when you can tell they did stuff just to make you jump at something coming out of the screen at your head.

beta-tester 03-27-2010 11:37 AM

I didn't like this movie at all. I fall asleep during it :) It was pretty sucky with no story at all and stupid scenes....

just my 2c

TheAmericanCannibal 03-27-2010 11:50 AM

The effects were good . script sucked

NaughtyRob 03-27-2010 12:05 PM

Not really, I'd say at least 20 times you hear "off with his head!"

Thank you. That movie sucked monkey balls. A clear example how Disney can take so much talent and squander it in favor of being bland, cliche', and stupid.

"underland" - are you kidding me?

John-ACWM 03-28-2010 09:12 AM

Guess it was a part made especially for Johnny. Great acting.

tranza 03-29-2010 11:55 AM

Can not wait to debut here in Brazil!!! Certainly will a wonderful movie!

pradaboy 03-29-2010 11:59 AM

It was ok, I definitely do not like the 3D-hype. It's distracting and so far the only movie it added anything to was Avatar.

Loki 03-29-2010 12:10 PM

Johnny's Mad Hatter was toooooo close to his Willy Wonka imho

-Loki-

Pandoras 03-29-2010 01:55 PM
