It is going down way more faster that i could ever imagine. We're not talking about months here but weeks.

At least on my end. Are you in the same boat ?
Worst month ever after being online for over 13 years. No not true if i count 1997 as i was starting.
Less signups equals less rebills :mad: going down, down down.

Worst ratio:
1:45 000 (niche/sponsor)
I can't send 45 000 uniques qualified surfers (targeted/clicked traffic) everyday to every niches i work in and to ever sponsors. I don't own tube sites.

What are these signups that you speak of?

1) Still in a Recession.
2) Income tax time and people are using the refunds to pay credit cards.
3) Price of gas is starting to go up.
4) People uneasy about the "recovery'.
5) Obamacare just started taking money from everyone's pay checks.

Banks are denying insane amount of cards right now.. the ACAI guys, which has been all over the place lately, is generating huge cb numbers because of their crazy shady business.. this has opened up the eyes of the banks on what's going on and they're running away scared right now..

The sales are down because there aren't many processors left standing and those who are still around were hosed very big time just around end of Jan. They have simply turned off the taps almost completly and sales are just tricking in once in a while. From 14-15 sales a day I am down to 14 to 15 in two weeks.
The day CCBill folds up, and that is not too far off, this industry will be history. Visa and MC have performed a coup de grace.

How do you know? How many transactions do you do a day?

I invite you (or anyone else for that matter) to run a decline report.

Look specifically at how many (do not honor) declines you are getting on rebills.

how in the fuck can you get a "do not honor" decline on a rebill? (because the card obviously was used at one time for the initial sale right?

so what's happening is banks are cracking down on what consumers can buy with their cards. specifically "high risk" transactions processed by adult billing companies

Between all my clients I guarantee you they bill more than you do. Increased scrubbing is only a problem is you're living on small margins. I know this goes against what a lot of folks WANT to be the case but it's true.

I see the changes, sure. But do they cause me to say 'IT'S ALL GOING TO HELL!?!!" ? No. It's a slight change. It is not the end of the world.

it's not really the tubes or the economy, it's the billing that's the issue. i know this because of drastic day to day and week to week changes. sometimes they let sales through sometimes they don't. that's why a lot of the work you do is almost irrelevant.

The past 5 days have been totally fucked up for me.

The problem is tube sites. Unless you double or triple your traffic, it is likely you will continue to see a decline in your sales. Ratios are just bad these days. It's probably not your fault. Surfers aren't paying for porn like they did before tube sites.

Traffic level the same? How about the sources of traffic, are they same? Finally, which sponsors are you sending them to?

Maybe if you're not running tubes, your traffic has been TUBE-DESENSITIZED? ie., the expectations of your surfers have changed?
