Mobile Phones - One guy downloads the vid and gives it to all his friends. Iv seen it over here in the UK with a guy I used to work with. He purchased one video and tried giving it to me via bluetooth then told me he had given it to a load of his other mates as well.

Dident they say Iphone was going to do this or something. I heard something about flash being introduced. my solution is to just use the current sites that are available atm and just wait to see how this develops in the next year or so

I didn't think it was flash. I think it was called HTML6.0 or some shit.

People have always been sharing stuff they like. They've been doing it ever since it was possible to copy VHS tapes. It has just become more easy for them.

Increased storage sizes, faster transmission rates, etc = more and more HD pirating. Gone were the days when a HUGE file size and long d/l times acted as some sort of deterrent.

One possible approach: sell an experience instead of porn. Sell interactivity instead of canned/tubed out content.

Sorry but you are wrong, things have/are just changing in this biz and like most other businesses if you dont keep up with whats going on you sink. Think back before the supermarkets were around everybody shoped in the local corner shop.
Most of them have gone because their is an easier and cheaper way to shop. Its a similar thing if you dont keep up with new trends in any biz you loose out.

With the supermarkets it was sell cheaper and all in one place. Kill off most of the local butchers, bakers, greengrocers, etc. then once you have no local option creep the prices up and count the profits.

Same thing has happened with petrol stations too. There used to be a huge number of small petrol station brands with only a few shops and now its Esso, Shell, BP, Texaco as the large companies went on an undercutting and buying out spree a while back then once there was only a few brands prices rocketed.

With the internet a lot of people seem to think Google is the internet. If someone manages to build a completely recognisable trusted internet porn brand that even a non-internety person would know of and be anybodies first choice of where to go they could clean up. Worst case scenario is that Google use their GooglePorn.com domain properly and then everybody is fucked.

Sharing is promotion. A lot of people given the video by phone may or may not have even heard of the specific site/model before seeing it. If they like it they may well go on and buy any more they want to see.

No way to prevent sharing on phones really (no streaming, doubt any phones have drm).

Only way to kinda prevent it would be to have massive files...bluetooth is pretty slow i think

Yes music, ringtiones ..ect and pictures have always been shared via mobile phones over here. But sharing porn videos from mobile paysites. I havent seen a lot of until just recently. The guys who I have seen with porn movies on thier phones will keep a movie for maybe a few weeks get bored with it and then just get another one from thier mates. I guess with the explosion of mobile porn sites it was bound to happen
