It was a great segment. I hope people watched that and gained a better understanding of sharks. I've been surfing for over thirty years and I've seen sharks numerous times while out in the water and like he said there were plenty more that saw me but went unnoticed.

I understand sharks and have no fear for them. Only respect.

I can imagine all the people that watched that and thought he was crazy for swimming freely with them but every morning they have no problem driving to work, speeding through traffic while talking on their cell phones, unbuckled and enjoying a nice cigarette :upsidedow

To answer your question, I've always wanted to do one of those dives with a Great White while in a cage but after just watching that guy I'd have no problem diving outside the cage with his guidance and expertise. Really the only thing stopping me is a lack of funds :)

I enjoyed the Russian billionaire segment as well as Nada Prouty, I <3 60 minutes.

I've cage dove with them right off Seal Island...Where that 60 Mins was filmed.

They are big. ;-) Interesting thing is...the JAWS theme doesn't actually play when they swim around you.
