Market Samurai hasn't exactly been spot on in their posts lately about domains anyways, but whatever...will let people think they're experts while I quietly make a living getting domains those people ignore.

I personally don't care who posted what first and who copied what.

I like to learn as much as possible, this surely helps in grasping the whole "10-year old domain" claims in the buy&sell board.

buying aged domains is stupid imho... i outrank them all day long..

and yes, there is a difference between buying an "established" site for seo and buying just an aged domain with some old links in the se's...

Yea, I do admit that is pretty useful in doing SEO research.

$5 Subs is one of the few thread starters whose posts I look forward to seeing. It's rare to find a thread of his that isn't useful, and he contributes quite a lot of diverse knowledge and resources to the GFY community.

One of the items on my 'To Read' list is to dig up his past threads and read through them. On those occasions when I'm bored or just feel like reading and learning, I do just that. It's a helluva lot better than wading through fake drama & 'see sig'.

Not sure why you have a bug up your ass about his sharing, but an attitude of thankfulness and respect will get you a lot farther in life than one of grumpiness.

What irritates me is that he absolutely, positively NEVER writes his own shit. Seriously, go join stumbleupon.com, choose webmaster-related categories and hit the stumble button. You will see EVERYTHING that he posts before he posts it. He needs to create a blog and just link to that rather than spamming his sig under the guise of "passing along knowledge." If people want this knowledge it is simple to find. Go look instead of waiting for a spammer to post it for you.

I don't know who is worse though, $5 sigwhore or those who think he's somehow useful. The kid is a human rss aggregator.

Thanks for your feedback. What else can I say? But I'll try to keep improving. I never claim to be an expert. I just share and have been opening posts with original commentary that seeks to make the resource more relevant. I thank you and another guy for that suggestion. As for stumbleupon, a lot of the stuff can get stale so I try to read from as many diverse sources as possible. More up to date materials if available.

And it's not an act, I really think critics, such as yourself, are the best teachers. It's hard to see areas that need improving when everyone tells you that you're doing great. Critics do me the favor of pointing out where I can improve. And I try to improve. That's the best I can do. I've been on this board for going on 7 years and there's always room to improve and I try not to let my ego get in the way.

I'll still keep posting stuff I find useful.
