please explain webcamclub foreign catagory and payouts.
Trying to figure something out...
When on paypersale, there are many freejoins that are put automatically into the webcamclub foreign 20% rev payout scheme. I would like to know why 20% payout on these and not the $50.00 or ($150.00 apr 1 to apr 30) would apply to those forigner customers who use their credit card. The way I see it is, when someone spends lets say 1000 on his cc and you he is in your foreign joins, then you would get $200 dollars. So automatically putting foreign people into that payout scheme could not be for anti-fraud measures, cause 20% in most cases can pay out more then the $50 or even $150 pps plans... So I am stuck here trying to figure out the reasoning for those foreign joins being forced into their own 20% revshare scheme and not just left with the other free joins until they become a paying member. Thanks for any info on this, just really confused. |
Hey Montreal,
We pay PPS on anything US, UK, Australia and Canada. Any other traffic, is considered foreign which is placed on a revshare basis. You make a valid point on someone legitimately spending $1,000 on his CC, however you have to also take into consideration the great majority of people sending fraudulent sign-ups and trying to scam the system whether it's charge backs later on or trying to take a stab at the big promo days with self-generated sales; most of that stuff originates from foreign, non-english speaking countries. So the good and the bad do go hand and hand, but this way it helps control some of it, both on our end and the affiliates end. Let me know if that sort of clears it up for you. Or feel free to contact me directly, info is below. Thanks. |
Thanks for your post. I'm not sure why you would post instead of asking us directly.
In our experiences, foreign sales yield more fraud/chargebacks. The processing fee is also more than domestic. It is not a scheme. You can contact me directly if you are still not satisfied with the explanation. Thanks |
makes sense, I do appreciate the clarification guys.
