my all time fav is KITE, directors cut ... ok, its old, but so am i :D oh, and mezzo forte is a good ol' one as well ... geee, i am an ol' sob :D

Kite is great. Not so sure about the sequel though.

Used to love mangas like Akira, Fist of the North Star, Guyver series.

haven't been watching them in ages.
Did a little search and came up with Elfen Lied. Looks pretty gory to me :)
