Based on my experience in mainstream and adult, search engines don't care about the TLD (.com, .net, .org, etc). As a result, greatporn.com, greatporn.net, greatporn.info all will rank equally well for the keywords in the domain.

The important thing is to have good keywords in the domain and to have great keywords on the site itself. The domain helps, but I've seen top-ranking sites with shitty domain names and low-ranking sites with great domain names.
