USA Plan To Ban Menthol Cigarettes.
 

This is not aimed at the smoking or non smoking crowd....more of a rights issue...what will be next ..general cigarettes..then liquor .....it seems banks can refuse your c/card at adult sites if they deem it high risk...no online gaming etc ...the list is getting endless........whats going on in the world :( are we all sheep and children and have to be told what we can and cant do ! ?????

I smoke socially..about 5 a week..never could get into the menthol flavored ones I tried.

Its seems 19 million americans smoke them though so they must be popular.


My worry/rant is all these rules governing our lives that increase daily.....

it's because kids as young as 5 have been smoking menthol for their minty refreshing flavor.

I agree rules come into place to protect and help us but at what point does all the FUN stop and we can no longer do anything we want because every pleasure is banned due a reason /excuse given by the goverment.....

Cuban cigars are banned in USA. More types of smokes could be banned, who knows.

I smoke camel crush, I can't smoke non-menthol cigarettes. So if it comes to that I'll just quick. I went from 2 packs a day to 1 now to about 4-5 cigs a day so it shouldn't be too hard.

In Canada, this summer they are banning all flavored cigarettes from watermelon blunt wraps all the way down to coconut cigarillos.

Wanna know why?

Because it's obviously for FUCKING KIDS.

Rights are one thing, cigarettes flavored like raspberry chocolate chunk chippy marshmellow fruit bar is another.

But we allow alcoholic drinks disguised to taste like soda such as Lemonade Twisters...and Orange Swish...yea right ! kids would never like them.

I agree, liquor and McDonalds is probably worse than cigarettes. And I'm not gonna lie, I roll my blunts in maple syrup flavored tobacco leaves.

And the government probably has an agenda... I'm not sure what is is because selling flavored cigarettes to kids is a great form of population control that makes them tons of tax money.

Either way, taking them off the market is an overall good thing. Even some of my adult friends will quit once they can't smoke that shit.

The parents argument is BS though. Parents in enough control of their kids that they prevent them from smoking if they want to do it = over protective. This fucks kids up. It alienates them.

It still amazes me that smoking is legal. I smoked for forty years, quit two years ago. I look back at it as a stupid mistake I made as a teenager that I never corrected until recently.

Its legal for now becuase the goverment currently want it that way.....although as I hinted on earlier ...they may change thier mind at a later date depending on thier agenda at that time.

They already banned flavored cigarettes ... I used to smoke cloves, I would smoke about 5 a day. I enjoyed the flavor... They're illegal now...
