I went to New York once last year and I saw billboards for "Cougars" AKA older women and young men as well as some other porn billboards.

Porn just followed a trend in society - American Pie coined the term MILF - NastyDollars capitalized on it and created a landmark adult site, Milf Hunter which opened up the floodgates to hundreds of copycats. what was really responsible for the elevation of the MILF/Cougar were a bunch of societal factors - the Baby Boom generation, womens lib, divorce rates through the roof, mainstream 35 plus actresses like Demi Moore doing everything to remain hot as they aged

I think Andreas at Naughty America helped the whole MILF demographic get noticed and become popular. He may have not been the first guy doing it, but the MILF sites NA put up from 2004 on were wildly successful.
