I know lots of us are sick of the movie franchise. But after seeing the trailer, which you can view here, it appears Paul Anderson has learned his lesson and might actually give us a kickass zombie movie for a change.

And that happens to be the one game of the RE series I did buy. It's like you have to take a 3 week course to learn all the controls and moves. I moved on to Left 4 Dead.

So you're saying the earlier editions of RE games were better than RE5?

I thought all 3 movies were kickass.

The games are also great. RE4 was one of my favorite games ever. 5 was also very good, but should have been longer.

Obviously 5 has by far the best visual graphics, but 4 was one of the coolest games ever.

i never played the game, but all three movies were good with the first one being excellent. hard to beat that one

I agree the first was the best, followed closely by the third which was really good. The second was the weakest IMO.

L4D2 was on sale last week for 1/2 price online.

I haven't bought it either, not sure if I will. The reviews on the STEAM gaming community forums haven't been all that favorable I'm afraid. The original game is pretty good though, although it could use a few more campaigns in it.

Sequel looks really cool! I love zombie movies and I'm sure this won't disappoint.

sounds great, liked the Resident Evil movies 1-3 very much, even if they were not that referring to the games. But I am even more excited about the "Crazies" remake, the trailer looks awesome (the one with the Donnie Darko - Madworld score). Hope it's as good as the trailer promises. :)
