Damn I love this city! This is my 3rd time here and it is clean and still evolving with new buildings everywhere. I am staying at the Biltmore which is west of downtown. If you play golf, I highly recommend it. Going to have dinner on the beach any recommendations not over the top expensive?

I've been going to Miami beach since the late 60s and watched it change dramatically.

One of my favorite memories was walking out on the pier that used to be near the inlet at South beach. It was a Sunday morning and I passed a man in his 40s, dressed in a suit like he had just come from church except it was a tad bit dirty.

He was strolling along with a cup of coffee in his hand and talking to the big dead fish he had draped over his shoulder. He was having a pleasant conversation with it and was just as happy as could be. :)

Miami Beach is a much different place now and I'm glad I got to experience it all.

Osteria Del Teatro is FUCKING GOOD ITALIAN FOOD. Great place to take a date. It has been there forever. Our last waiter we had there was actually Italian which of course makes the food taste even better.:upsidedow

I also recommend this place, use to live on South Beach for a few years; a lot of fun and always something going on . . .

In south beach, if you like Steak, there is a great place called Meat Market, on Lincoln Road. Not too expensive, great food, and a fun crowd as the night get's later...

Most of the other restaurants on Lincoln road are overpriced crap, so be warned.

I love Miami, I even think if I should move there....

Ended up here at the very south of south beach. Service sucked but nice tables watch the cruise ships go by.

FUCK man - how much $$$$ you makin' if you're stayin' at the Biltmore, eating there, etc etc? Or has Miami gone down the crapper financially and the Biltmore is less than $800 a night now?

I was looking for them lol. They are going to have a blast there.

Not enough to live there man I tell you!!! I only stayed there 2 nights but it was worth it to see how the rich live.

Awesome, awesome!!! I did the same thing, a shitload long time ago, in Thailand, at The Oriental hotel. $500 a night (which was more like double or triple that now) for two nights. Still remember it twenty years on or so so i guess it was worth it.

And Miami is nicer than Thailand - these days, anyway. :D

I love Miami, my fav city. I love going to Espanola Way for some food, great places to eat all around that area.

If you want a great steak, go to The Forge. Its not cheap, but you'll get a great piece of meat.

no they wont, A lot of the good clubs will not even let them in and the police won't take any of their shit like in NJ.

Well you would know! The lesser clubs will get the attention then. It might be entertaining to watch the dichotomy and make for good ratings.

The Forge has been closed for almost a year getting a remodeling job. Should re-open in a few months with a new menu and cheaper prices.
