Darin Award: Tourist shot in the chest in Thailand for yelling FUCK YOU to the Army
 

During the chaos that is going down in Bangkok right now, some dumb yank tourist walks in front of the Thai Army and yells, "fuck you!" to them. One of them opened fire and shot him in the chest.

Seriously, where do these people come from?

As of today the death toll is 21 with over 800 injured. It's probably gonna get a lot worse here soon. The Red Shirts are gearing up with battle gear, getting ready for an all out war. :helpme

Exactly when does yelling "fuck you" means you are allowed to shoot someone?

I swear sometimes I wished we'd send a nuke to every fucked up country and tell them to chill the fuck out or there's more of that shit. Seem to work on the Japs.

The Army is lined up on one side of the road, the protesters on the other. Tensions are already high as they have been fighting all day. People are getting shot and injured left and right. Any act of aggression will be met with deadly aggression.

In comes a yank, walks right up to the army and starts yelling at them while they had their guns pointed his way. One pulled the trigger. Game over.

Given the situation I may have shot him too. It's not all land of smiles over here and if you're that dumb to walk in the middle of that mess and shout profanities at either side, I'm thinking it's time you're removed from the planet so you don't breed and contaminate the gene pool.

In the middle of all out war, there are tourists posing and taking photos of themselves with tanks. As if they are bullet proof. Total morons. Lots of tourists have been hurt in this chaos and most of them had it coming.

This is bad. The man could have been drunk, intoxicated or brave or something. Maybe he lost all fear. On a lighter note, the city name sounds like "Bang Cock."

The only person note worthy that was shot in the chest was a Tokyo-based cameraman, Hiro Muramoto, 43, who had worked for Reuters for 15 years, was killed after being shot in the chest while filming the violent clashes. Glad i got your misleading thread title and first sentence straightened out.

There have been several tourists killed or injured. It's all over Thai TV. Western coverage of the protests and violence is very limited. If you can speak Thai, turn on the local stations and get your western head out of your western ass.

I think you confuse freedom with lawlessness. Thailand has so many more strict laws than most "first" world countries but lack the manpower to enforce them. Thats the only reason why you aren't in jail over there like one of your buddies.

the problem is that a lot of Yanks believe the idiotic movies they've been fed their whole lives, where a US citizen is "bulletproof" in every country.
