They just put it up on Netflix and all I can say is WOW!

Yep, only 13 episodes. A lot of cable shows seem to do that now. They have a full season be 13 episodes. Hopefully the guy that plays Spartacus will get healthy and will be able to return for the second season.

I just watched episode 12 last night on VOD. Looking forward to 13 now. Overall plot is a little thin but they're doing a good job working with what they have. A few very interesting twists so far.
