It's getting closer and closer to the deadline! Please post your support of Option 3, and mention that you are involved with the Adult Internet Industry/Community!

See posting #6 above.

bump for this

Arnox 04-19-2010 05:10 PM

This thread would be so much better if you didn't demand people to follow exactly what you want them to say.

If you really think this is for the 'good' of the industry, then you'll find that most webmasters/adult related people will agree with you anyway. Don't tell me what opinion I should have on a topic.

Poor method, seriously rethink next time.

Your opinion and individualized posting to the ICANN site would be welcomed.

I'd guess that the "demanding" was his interpretation of what the Free Speech Coalition folks suggested.

Trisha, you are one very smoking-hot beautiful (and super-nice) babe:-)!!!

davecummings 04-23-2010 09:07 PM

Has everyone here already posted a "Please approve Option 3" comment already?

Yes, its a canned response, however a lot of webmasters are too fucking lazy to think for themselfes, so being spoon fed a response, may motovate them to respond to this very important subject:2 cents:

davecummings 04-25-2010 11:34 PM

Ouch, this weekend's postings on the ICANN site includes many "supporters" of ICM--ouch!

What can each of us do to encourage many more Adult Industry postings of "I am involved with the Adult Industry and don't see much support in it for .xxx

Please adopt Option C."

Any ideas?

And, today, there's even more people supporting icm --- somehow, icm seems to rallying them to post.

Why are we not posting like we should be:-(.

davecummings 04-26-2010 02:17 PM

Please, please, please post something like "As an affected member/stake-holder, I ask ICANN to adopt OPtion 3".

davecummings 04-26-2010 08:32 PM

Without a LOT more of you standing up and being counted, we're taking a chance on icm "owning" us:-(.

davecummings 04-27-2010 06:42 AM

Time is starting to get short for posting something like:

"I am a member of the Adult Industry, and I urge ICANN to select Option 3."

czarina 04-27-2010 07:08 AM

my comment has been submitted. A strong NO to the XXX TLD

seeandsee 04-27-2010 07:21 AM

.xxx suksssssss

davecummings 04-28-2010 09:16 AM

The owner of Adam & Eve, Phil Harvey, just posted an extensive comment at ICANN.

Nodtveidt 04-28-2010 09:35 AM

I have voiced my opposition to the tld.

davecummings 04-28-2010 02:35 PM

Thanks, Nodtveidt and the others who are supporting Option 3.

Now, we need others to do likewise, lest we all be crying the blues later!

I never got a confirmation email so I guess my letter isn't going to go up there anytime soon. Reading the other letters is pretty damn funny though, both for and against the tld. The canned responses FOR the tld are hilarious, and the ill-formed responses against the tld make me wanna both laugh and feel pity for the poor person at the same time.

davecummings 04-29-2010 08:09 AM

If you don't get a confirmation email (which requires only that you hit your "reply" and send it), maybe you can send a query to ICANN at their site.

Also, maybe there was a typo in your email addy?

Good luck, and thanks for looking out for the needs of this Industry.

We need EVERYONE to post NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
