Yeah. I have received a number of those as well over the years.

I ask them to email me, just as I do anyone who hits me up out of the blue with examples. More than half say they will, and never do. Designers are not the only one's however, just to be fair.

i occasionally let people on my icq list know of updated work ive done, however if im networking with someone i always ask for their email and send of my portfolio and resume almost immediatly!

seems like bad business to spam someone and not even have your marketing material or portfolio ready to email them...why bother :2 cents:
