Blackhawks absolutely ROB Nashville to take a 3-2 series lead
 

Did anyone here see this game? Absolutely stunning.

3-3 in the third, then late in the period Nashville scores to go up 4-3. Then Hosa takes a bad penalty drawing a 5 min major, and THEN... with only 13 seconds to go in the game, while shorthanded no less, the hawks score to tie the game.

They start OT with 3 minutes of penalty time left. Hawks kill off the remainder of the penalty, then with their first rush the other way, now at full strength, they score and steal the win.

What. a. game.

I am loving these playoffs so far. Next up Pittsburgh @ Ottawa, game 6. Sens need win to stay alive.

Hossa should have been booted from the game and should lose 2 games.

Pittsburgh Ottawa went to OT too - very good game. First round of the Stanley Cup playoffs is always the best round. The finals usually the worst, players are so beaten up and exhausted that it's a crawl to the finish line often.

I could see him getting a 1 or 2 game suspension although I doubt there was any actual intent on his part to cause injury. It was a push while going after the puck as they went around the net and the guy fell, it happens.

It won't come as a surprise if he gets a suspension though.

Ottawa let a 3-1 lead slip through their fingers and allowed the Pens to steal the game and the series from them 4-3. It's a travesty on ice I tell you and will go down in the history as one of the worst losses in all of Ottawa hockey. (at least according to one TSN announcer)

In short, they blew it. :D

As did the Avs. May the golf course be kinder to them than the ice was.

Game 6 is in Nashville, tomorrow night. (Monday, Apr 26th)

Good game this afternoon with a 5-2 shitstomping of the Red Wings by the Coyotes.

Game 7 in that series should be fun.

Now to see if Vancouver can put away the Kings, or does this one go 7 games as well?

No suspension for Hosa. Repeat: NO suspension for Hosa. No intent was visible, the guy didn't get seriously injured, they're saying the 5 minute penalty that was awarded was sufficient in this case.


Nice win for Vancouver to take the series last night. Luongo haters must be climbing the walls and pulling their hair out along about now.
