Gmail account hacked.
 
Wake up this morning to 50 emails from friends, family and business people asking me whats up with the email spam I sent them. Good way to start the week.

it may be just email spoof, not hacked account ... if its hacked change pass and spam may ends, if its spoof your email addy is now damned :)

This happen to one of my friends a few weeks back. Spammed his entire contact list with some pharm site.

Yea it was some Russian spammer that got in and spammed some weight lost stuff. I hope none of my bigger friends think Im trying to tell them something lol.

God, that happened to me weeks ago. It really fucked things up for me one busy Monday. I got spoofed. It was a bitch spending an entire hour talking to people on why I posted a Christmas list (complete with links) on March in their inboxes.

go check your gmail account activity look for other ip logins.

in the footer of gmail page theres a link to see from which computer/ip the account has been recently accessed from. I once had gmail/paypal compromised. spotted almost instantly when it happened thanks to paypal. first thing you do if the account was indeed compromised, change gmail pass and then all passwords that you may keep in gmail for other services.

I think a bank account should be more reliable than Internet systems. I don't want to imagine what would happen if a bank account was hacked.
