Should Barefootsies follow the same rules everyone else does?
 

He called BigDeanEvans a scammer basically, by saying he was Batts new nickname. Should he be exempt from the same rules he's used against other people, or should he be guilty and banned for not posting proof of his accusations?

If someone calls another webmaster a scammer, he must show proof of it, or follow the same path as those who break the rules. No matter if it's the new clown of GFY, a charismatic guy or a hater. If someone HIJACKS other webmasters Threads to SPAM his shit, he's full of shit. Nobody is going to buy from a desperate seller anyways.

BTW, any webmaster that WASTES a lot of time on forums, will get in trouble soon or late. Rule of thumb.

The rules of gfy, whether applied harshly or lightly, should be applied equally to all GFY members. As long as the process is the same for everyone, there is no discrimination.

That's really the irony in this particular issue.

If Eric banned me, he would also have to ban the vast majority of the people who keep this issue going. All of them are breaking one of two rules and have been for two day now. They have made REAL accusations (not some vague subject header) against me. and/or my business over this week without posting any proof. Others have made between a half dozen of these threads with excessive harassment, and inciting others. Also against the rules.

So in reality, you can't have it both ways. ALL would have to be banned.

Again, that's where you keep trying to bridge two distant points with your buddies. I did not call anyone a scammer. Nor have I said anything about BigDeanEvans in association to Batts or being a scam artist.

Under your logic, if I posted Argos88 in the subject header, and a picture of the Klan in the post. I am saying you are in the Klan by picture association. Even if I say nothing else in the thread.

If you post a remark in some thread, and I post a picture of a woman being bitch slapped. You can claim I am saying you are a woman, or a wife beater by the picture alone. That is really what you are trying to say with these claims. Which is ridiculous.

No one was called a scammer no matter how many times you want to repeat it, make threads about it, or say that something is 'inferred' by some picture in a thread, or how YOU interpret it.

Barefootsies, I have never had anything against you and often you have made interesting contributions to biz threads. If you notice this is the first time I comment on you. However, what is irritating is the recent spamming campaign with either hosting deals, "So fucking banned" pics, "guy pointing to sig", huge arrows pointing to your sig etc.
I don't buy your argument that people should just use the Ignore button. If that was the case then the Banhammer/moderating shouldn't exist in the first place.

You have gotten a few of your opponents banned on technicalities (breaking GFY rules). It means you accept and play by the rules of the game. Now, when you have broken one of the same rules (not posting proof) in a fair world you should also be banned then.

Barefootsies, why is the moderator giving you special privileges which the rest of the rule-abiding posters don't have? Are you personal friends or something like that? Can you elaborate on this? Is this some hidden unspoken "Bro-thing" or?

I have no idea idea. It just strikes my sense of justice to see you go unpunished when others have been banned for the same offense. :(
