It's amazing how sluggish IE is after using Chrome a lot

Even CLOSING an IE window takes 10 times longer than closing a Chrome window. I've never used IE8 so I don't know if that's any better than IE7, but I couldn't be paid to use IE7 anymore after getting used to Chrome and the nice lightweight speed of it.

Try Opera and you will never talk about any other browser to end of your life.

FF seems even slower to me.

Yeah Opera looks good. Just decided to give it a shot myself.

chrome is like rocket to gun

spazlabz 04-28-2010 08:11 AM

I think Chrome and Opera are definitely the fastest. There are little things about Chrome that bug me so I am still using FF. I might make the switch to Opera but I like to try and use a browser that customers will be mostly likely to use

I remember back when the speed of your internet experience was determined by the type of connectivity you had and had nothing to do with what browser you were using.

Ah the good old days. I long for them.

cherrylula 04-28-2010 09:08 AM

I love chrome. zoom zoom

Raf1 04-28-2010 09:42 AM

I'm switching today. I've had Chrome on every pc in my office, just not my laptop, where I've been using FF for the past few years. From what I've seen, there's a pretty big difference.

NaughtyRob 04-28-2010 10:08 AM

I have not used IE in like 6 yrs.

Mike Honcho 04-28-2010 11:08 AM

Chrome is the best browser, period.

I'll have to check out Opera sometime. Does it ever have any issues with sites where people don't take it into consideration when developing? That would be the only thing I'd worry about with trying something like Opera that isn't used by a significant percentage of netgoers.

i agree chrome is super fast

CamTraffic 04-28-2010 06:45 PM

Yep..

I use Chrome for my most of my browsing and my "easy" work-related stuff. That is to say, I use it to check analytics/ccbill client admin/keep an eye on servers.

I use FF for a majority of the other work-related things, though. Dual monitors helps with that.

Chosen 04-29-2010 04:46 AM

I use Opera 95% of time, but there are few sites that don't work correctly in Opera, in that case I'm using FF.

sojproductions 04-29-2010 06:02 AM

chrome is the best... when i look at my stats still surprised that only 6% of users use it, 49% IE, the world needs to ban IE
