Android 2.2 will come with Flash 10.1

more and more phones are released with Android and with the new 2.2 version even Flash will be supported. plus it's open source, most apps are free and porn is not moralized

is Android the new iPhone?

NaughtyRob 04-28-2010 10:12 AM

For porn maybe but I love my iphone, nothing compares.

Jim_Gunn 04-28-2010 10:13 AM

I can't wait to get the upcoming HTC Evo 4G with Sprint service. Android 2.1, fast processor, 8 MP camera, 720 p video capability.

Koodoo 04-28-2010 10:14 AM

I wonder why apple won't support flash.

ask all the people who had their apps deleted by Apple and what they think about Apples policies

and yes, it will give people access to free stuff - but also opens new possibilities to monetize content

Wizzo 04-28-2010 10:35 AM

I've had the Motorola CliqXT for about a month now running Android and I'm really starting to dig it. :pimp

Rochard 04-28-2010 11:04 AM

I love my fucking droid phone. First thing I do every morning is turn the alarm off on my droid phone, then use it to check email and my sites. Every morning in bed.

flash nice sweet and rocking!

Got a G1 a year and a half ago. Love it. Faster phones have come out since then with more memory... And yet... My G1 is still fully functional. It does everything a new phone does. Checking on Email, servers, stats from the toilet saves time and pisses off the guy that used to deliver my newspaper.

ruff 04-28-2010 11:48 AM

Open source is the future. Android is going to be the next big thing in my opinion. Would never buy into the Apple crapple.

I second that.

Iphones interface is MUCH MORE respoding!

martinsc 04-28-2010 11:54 AM

LiveDose 04-28-2010 12:51 PM

Love android on my mytouch. Dont have to deal with shitty itunes and tons more free apps. Apple is shooting themselves in the foot just like they did in the 80's by keeping their shit on 1 specific piece of hardware.

I have had a 3g 16gig Iphone for couple of years and now it is time to change... Seriously thinking of going Android and going to start shopping.

Any Canadian have a good suggestion for a kickass android that can work on our networks?

Same here, I want to try an Android soon, but don't want something under-powered right before a new batch of phones comes out.

Mr Cheeks 04-28-2010 03:14 PM

and one more thing about Android: you are not limited to expensive plans like with the iPhone and you can already pick up decent phones for $1 - at least i got offered some for that price when my contract was due this month

OY 04-28-2010 04:48 PM

Nice. Guess I will not be renewing my ATT contract with my iPhone then - Android it is.

pamon 04-28-2010 10:19 PM

only problem is that the carriers will delay it being released unless it's the nexus one directly from google. verizon took FOREVER to release the droid 2.1 update and a 2.2 upgrade with flash might take until 2012. lol

Jack Sparrow 04-28-2010 10:52 PM

There goes the mobile sales.

tiger 04-28-2010 11:06 PM

Jobs latest comments sealed the deal for me. I will be getting a droid this summer.

+1 for the G1, I got mine right when it came out :thumbsup

I don't think it has enough memory to fit android OS 2.0, but it still does everything I need and I won't upgrade until I break this one.

very buggy app

ShellyCrash 04-29-2010 06:01 AM

Apple won't support Flash and they are trying to shut out porn. Android is making all the right moves.

I'm not an anti-apple person, I think they make amazing products and have been extremely innovative these last 10 years, but with the route Jobs is taking with the iphone I feel he's really fucking up. I have to wonder if it has anything to do with his health.

Download App Killer, because I bet your battery issues have to do with Apps running in the background. :thumbsup

"IPod(Apple) is for Windows like Linux is for Android."

Is that a correct statement?
