NEW GFY RULE - Sig Spam Violation
 

No SIG spamming. Posting with intent of only to drawing attention to you sig with either text or an image will be considered SPAM. This type of spam will generate a warning, second violation will result in a ban. Abuse will not be tolerated. You want to announce something you are selling, put it in the Buy and Sell forum. You are announcing something for your program put it in the Program Announcement section.

Follow the rules or go play somewhere else.

If someone is looking for your services you can just as easily post in the thread exactly what you offer. Take a moment and actually do some work.

I know this industry has gotten lazy over the years, but taking 5 minutes to actually post what you have to offer to potentially make some money with someone is worth the time, don't you think?

This used to be a rule back in the day, that is how "see sig" started. People testing the limits.

Yes it was, I loosened it, but it has now gotten out of hand. So the rule returns.

I knew people would keep pushing until someone had to make a new rule.

Actually after seeing all the threads today, it was nuts.

So it really came as no surprise that this would be coming. It's one thing when it's one dude. Sure it's annoying. It's another when you have 50+ people doing it all day long. it really gets over the top.

Just look at all the bullshit on here today, rule this & rule that where does it end? People need to get a clue.

Actually, that would be a good rule for those who post content threads and 200 king sized images that crash out your browser, or take 10 minutes to load.

Some of those content threads get insane when people are posting that many images in a single post, or repeated replies.
