I know you've heard this a million times and you don't seem to ever do it, but...

You should have hired a designer.

I told you guys in other posts, I have hired designers, after which i get, Well you should not have hired "THAT" designer....so

pfffffft

#1. The design sucks. Really. But hey, you wanted feedback or you wouldn't have posted. Take it for what it's worth.

#2. What makes your product unique, why do you design 60% of revenue?
Situation 1: Say I sell an item with you for $100. You get $60.

Situation 2: - Say I have a low risk processor (2co, paypal, or even zombaio @ ~5%). I setup an open source cart system in 3 clicks on some virtual hosting - $5 per month. I sell an item for $100. Processor gets $2 - $5. Take $5 for hosting. I get $90. Any fulfilment company worth its salt can do the P&P for $5.

Something doesn't add up.

DebsDeep 04-29-2010 07:56 AM

Well being the simple fact that I buy the item, I take my time to print it, the cost of ink and supplies....I even ship to the buyer so I dont think 60/40 is bad
All you do is upload your logos you want to be available for print and it costs you $0

CIVMatt 04-29-2010 07:59 AM

I need some mainstream tshirts made

Wrong. On a $100 item, it costs them $60.

DebsDeep 04-29-2010 08:04 AM

So dont use the site and you loose $40

Hey, come on. I'm not trying to bait you. I'm simply asking you to justify your business position. I could very well be missing something. Don't assume I'm attacking you: I'm giving you the perfect opportunity to explain and sell your product to everyone even more.

On the to do list: 1) Grab a designer 2) PR :winkwink:

DebsDeep 04-29-2010 08:32 AM

Ok
1. I supply the clothing/items (costs me money)
2. I supply the ink, electricty and time (costs me money)
3. We drop ship so the store owner doesnt handle a thing (costs me money)
4. All the store owner does is upload what graphics they want to offer to be printed, they get thier own ccbill subaccount, admin area, with all the bells and whistles
5. Free hosting
6. Buyers could actually have something printed and shipped to the store owner for a photo request
7. Even cafepress charges a monthly fee plus commision, we dont

sirely, we can configure the store any way you want

Semi-Retired-Dave 04-29-2010 01:03 PM

Looks interesting, nice job. You should do well with it.

DebsDeep 05-05-2010 12:27 PM

thanks
And for the record, these store dont have to be for an amateur site, even if your a artist and wanna create cool designs with toons or funny sayings etc thats great too. I have had a few people ask me about that, I guess i wasnt clear enough

If the print on the tshirts isn't

http://www.gfy.com/image.php?u=36846...ine=1249914334

Then it isn't worth it.

Yo Adrian 05-05-2010 12:34 PM

I like the concept, could be good for amateur site models to get some extra promos out for cheap.

PornstarXS 05-05-2010 12:49 PM

interesting. i've been looking for a place more open to pervy content. i do toons, logos, creative stuff, many other places have G rated rules or lousy terms of they own your submissions. the design could use some more work but it's a nice concept

DebsDeep 05-05-2010 01:28 PM

Yeh, webpage design isnt my thing...I will finally admin it, its a good system, oscommerce backend, each store is all on its own, no shared content or anything.

You have your own admin area, you can write your own css, etc.

Domain Broker 05-05-2010 01:32 PM

The design sucks donkey dicks.

LoveSandra 05-05-2010 01:53 PM

Looks interesting

DebsDeep 05-05-2010 06:05 PM

Since I do value your opinions we will get a better design done for this
but gimme a break, I am onlytrying to make a living like everyone else

AaronM 05-05-2010 06:11 PM

"Take a look at a sample DemoShop
Your would be similar to this except your header, colors, test etc..."

mmcfadden 05-05-2010 07:06 PM

Why would someone buy a cumrag? Never heard of that before... what ever happened to the sock?

Si 05-05-2010 07:16 PM

I like the idea!

Will hopefully be able to put it to use aswell.

Best of luck with it :thumbsup

Spankys Teens 05-05-2010 10:45 PM

Wow. the design sucks mule balls

ottopottomouse 05-06-2010 03:17 AM

Sample shop design is bearable.

extasyprint.com looks awful and could easily look better just with a cleaner free template.

DebsDeep 05-06-2010 10:33 AM

updated the site

No idea, they've been pumping out incredible designs for us of late. Maybe they're not taking new clients. Unsure.
