Hey Wizz. If you looking for cheap hosting BUT quality without any useless downtime, also some of the best support I have stumbled on you should try out www.way3.com

Chris is one of the best guys I have worked with and he always takes care of his customers.

Goodluck man.

There are several resources if you search for webhosting reviews. However, you can find a lot of personal experiences right here on GFY as well.

Of course, if you have any questions, I would be happy to discuss the level of quality service that CHOOPA.com can offer. Please feel free to contact me with any questions: [email protected] or ICQ: 412-203-056

It's not 100% though... it gets my host wrong every time.

Yeah, I think if you have domain privacy enabled it throws it off it's game.

Do a traceroute to the domain to get the ip address, then do a whois on the ip address to see who owns the ip

I don't have domain privacy on this one, it gets the nameservers correct and it gets the ip correct but it shows an old host I have not used in 18 months, you would think if it got the ip correct, it would be a no-brainer to get the host from that result

nslookup www.example.com

will give you the IP without having to wait for a traceroute :2 cents:

or you can just go to your start menu (in windows), go to run, type cmd, hit ok, then type ping domain.com and you will get the ip.

Piss off

Another thing you can also do is to go to f.ex fixedorbit.com and see who owns the IP range which the site is hosted on.

Robocrop 04-29-2010 01:47 PM
