Oh, you mean a remake... Forgot that the US film business is based on remakes and comics from the 60' ...

The original is a classic.

The original is one of my all time favorites, but the last couple of trips to Elm Street have been pretty piss poor, so I actually welcome this remake, though I've heard mixed reactions to it...
my one main issue...I don't want a huge Freddy origination story...I liked the unknown badass who was slashing teens in their sleep...it was scarier when you didn't know what the fuck was going on with him...

The original is awesome, haven't seen the remake yet.

went to the midnight showing last night....the orginal was way better tho that blonde chick in the movie is fucking hot
