Apparently there's a Russian guy going around hacking sites and hijacking any iframe coding on them. Several of my sites were hit a few weeks ago and it got them added to google's warning list for adware/spyware downloading. I'm now in the process of getting those sites removed from that list but all the iframes code I was using to promote various programs had to be removed. Google reported that the hack originated from a .ru domain. (I have the address saved but won't post it here)

Thanks to the great people at techiemedia by the way, for their amazingly prompt response time in helping me identify the problem and what to do about it. They even removed all the offending hacked coding off dozens and dozens of pages across several of my domains. Thanks Jim & co. :D

Anyway sounds to me like your iframes issue could be due to the same guy or someone like him. Or not, might be something else entirely, but it's at least something to be aware of.
