I think it is sad that people would post on here about the AZ law and how some of you think it is racist. Yet no one posts about the sheriff's deputy that was shot doing his job today.

People that have never been to AZ don't know what it's like. People that have only visited really don't know what it's like either.

I was here for like 8 years before I really saw the worse parts of Phoenix and not until 2007 did I really get into the ghetto.

It's pretty crazy, people think Arizona and they think of Desert and Cactus, when in reality it's a big city with 3,000,000 people and a lot more unknowns.

the mexican drug cartel situation is dangerous as hell. you have both legals and illegals caught in the crossfire and things get even trickier. there will probably be more shootings by cartels on the US side which will fuel the anti-illegal sentiment even more.

Immigrant is someone that moves to another country to start a new life. This guy was a smuggler. Legal or illegal. His purpose of being in the US was to smuggle in drugs from point A to point B. he wasn't your typical Mexican Pedro that cuts grass for cool $20. He was a gang member that was smuggling DRUGS.

I don't see one single thing in that article that specifically states that the man was an illegal alien. Considering that they did not catch the guy, he could be a fucking Eskimo for all anybody knows.

this must be a pseudo-shooting, fabricated, to gain adepts to the new law, probably extreme wing people who hired hit men to make a big story and have people saying "hey, so thats true, immigrants are dangerous people, they tried to kill a deputy..."

Um....Things like this have been happening a lot. This is the reason for the new law.

I think the deputy that was shot can tell the difference between a hispanic and an eskimo.
