Here in the UK most people use MSN but i was curious as to what instant messenger(s) is the most popular in your country.

i have only really used icq but i was thinking about looking into skype...are a lot of people using it?

Everyone I chat with uses Skype...I often forget to sign in to ICQ (b/c I don't like it very much) and NEVER sign in to MSN, AIM, etc.
