Getting Iphone Today - How is it with email?
 

Meaning can I easily hook up any pop mail account I have with my domains and get those emails sent to the iphone? Or will it be complicated to set up multiple emails?

I have heard iphone isn't as good as BB for email - but I know little smart phones.

Some people really love it.

Myself, I hate doing email on my phone.

The screen is small because the onscreen keyboard takes 50% of the screen (at the bottom).

For SMS it's not a really big problem, since you don't write a lot of words..

If email is something you _MUST_ use on a cell, I would get something with a keyboard: Motorola Milestone, Backflip...

works fine for me over multiple accounts (hotmail, gmail, etc) for quick replies.

Thats about the only thing I don't like about my iphone.

take it back, now. the new model is coming out in June.

I prefer using my BB for emails, it seems like it instantly gets emails as opposed to waiting for 15 minutes until it checks the server.

As DamianJ said - wait for the new one in June/July but then you are in Canada so maybe it will be longer before it is released there.

Well nothing is announced, but it has been June every year for the last 3 years, so my money is on that. :)

When OS4.0 comes out you get to merge all your emails into one box. That'll make email a lot better on it.

iPhone is good for short reply emails, if you have to write a big email out tho it might get a bit annoying, I personally don't mind it tho.

I would not be getting an iPhone right now tho, the latest you will wait for the new one is August. Worth the wait.

The IPhone is great! It takes a little time getting use to the keyboard but you'll get it.
