Still no Google Chrome version. Blocking douchebags is no fun, but it does work great for those contest threads.

Life has been pretty rough for me the last couple of years, there's a lot that I haven't gotten done and let down a lot of people along the way. I'm not proud of it. My own stuff has taken a back seat to everything :(

That's the deluxe model you have to pay for, Stuart intentionally made some posters non blockable so we are forced to upgrade, pretty slick move.

yes, but with that you get boxes asking if you want to read the post anyway, plus it doesn't filter out threads nor quotes.
Also, it doesn't allow you to ignore based on keywords, nor does it let you ignore threads if you want, without ignoring the thread started.

But yes, it does work.... sort of.

I prefer to at least know there has been a post made by an idiot rather than just get confused by the thread going bonkers.

FfvB has the option of having a box placed there, much like vBulletin's does. it doesn't have to strip it out completely.
But when you ignore a user, it does it to their threads and quotes as well as their posts. You have to click to read them.

I like to keep firefox addons to a minimum but maybe I'll give it another look. It's a while (and 2 formats) since I had it installed.

yeah, understandable... I've found quite a few addons that cause severe spikes in memory usage, including Google's toolbar!
Some of them cause infinite loops when something goes wrong, it tries to trigger some error but fails, which causes another error trigger, which fails... and so on.
It's wise to keep them to a minimum if at all possible.
