iphone or HTC phone?
Ok, need some feedback here.
Im looking at 2 phones. 1. Iphone (either 3gs or new 4g when it comes out). 2. HTC Desire (Android OS) I'm leaning more towards the Desire atm because I want to make some apps and iphone is overloaded with apps which are mostly free or useless. So easyer to get into the Android market. Which would you get? |
the choice is basically between going with Apple or going with Google, hard decision
|
HTC but I'm biased. iPhones are too common now.
|
Have you played with either of them? I've only owned an iPhone, but I really want an HTC running Android since they are a little more open to the adult biz. I'd be great if consumers switched due to Apple's negative stance on porn, but I think those days are long gone. VHS lasted because it embraced adult, but will Android stick around because it was a "pro-adult" OS?
|
Android is superior... I have the Samsung Moment with Sprint and I love it! I used an iphone a few times and it was cool whatever but Android is just as cool, plus it supports porn while apple is anti porn, and my hardware is superior to the iphone. Not sure about the desire and what you like about it but Android comes on like 20 different phones with different sizes, cameras, screens, with and without keyboards and prices... so thats the real strength of Android, you can pick out the hardware thats suits your needs best not just go with the iphone.
Trust me, you will not be disappointed with an android phone! |
Unless you get an IPhone cracked for another carry and then get that carry to even bother running that phone IPhone is not really an option. AT&T is the worlds shittiest network. HTC phones you can use on all other networks, they have the same apps, if not better apps, they are faster then IPhones due to AT&T's crappy ass network... Ohh and they break less, Iphones are bad for cracking on there screen

here's exactly what you need bro.....

Don't know if everyone knows or not but the Apple exclusivity with ATT for the iphone is over. Verizon is coming out with it's version of the iphone now.

Get the IPhone.
|
Can't wait to dump my Samsung Moment phone and pick up my HTC EVO next month!
iPhone doesn't even come close to the specs on the EVO. |

For example an HTC phone from Sprint will not work on ATTs network. HTC is CDMA and ATT is GSM. |
don't get the HTC. I bought one about 6 months ago and in 2 months the screen had leaked. It is a well known defect with these phones.

I have an iphone. A lot of my buddies went and bought the HTC Desire.
Makes my iphone look outdated for a whole bunch of reasons. I'd go with the HTC...:2 cents: |

I've had the HTC Desire for about two weeks and love it! Battery could be better though but that's common with every smartphone these days...
|
I've had 4 HTC phones, and recently switched to Blackberry, because I can't stand APPLE and their overpriced products.
The reason for the change, was because I needed a new phone. Didn't want to get a new HTC because they have horrible hardware that wares out from use quite quickly... that was the reason I went with a blackberry this time around, so far so good. |
Should I get a phone that is out, or a phone that is likely to come out in June that no one knows the specs of?
Just a thought, why not wait until the new iPhone comes out and THEN make your mind up? |
If you're waiting for a good phone Zorgman, get yourself the HTC EVO this summer. Here's an article on it, I think you'll like it ;)

I just switched to the HTC Hero, which isn't as good as the EVO obviously, but will be getting the Android 2.1 soon. So far I love it, I switched from a blackberry which was just way to slow and buggy, let alone outside of email was crappy. The google phone with a nice browser, its messaging and gmail are just excellent. I highly recommend the Google phones.

HTC incredible. the name speaks for itself, and this is coming from someone whos owned a 2g, 3g, and 3gs. never going back to ATT again
